Tessa:I know all of these fugitives. None of them are him to my knowledge.

Icara:That's weird. Why would you have us and not him.

Tessa:he has to be somewhere. The corporation always has kept tabs on everyone.

Scientist:What are you doing? This area is for employees only.

Tessa:I'm not talking to you guys okay?

Dicarius:What are you about to do?

Tessa's voice changes to that of the guards and hers. Her eyes glow red like the guards. It's almost like they just linked minds.

Soldier/Tessa:The boss told me to get some data piss ant! And I doubt he would be happy if he found out you tried to stop me.

Scientist:...

Tessa cracks her knuckles and so does the soldier.

Soldier/tessa:Shit..I'm not happy that your talking to me right now.

Scientist:...Fine..fine!

He then walks away back to where he was working. Tessa's eyes change back to normal.

Tessa:Good...I don't want to have to hurt any of them.

Yuro:Why didn't you ask him?

Tessa:It would look suspicious to ask for my own leader's data. I don't need suspicion right now.

She fiddles with the computer longer and scrolls up and down and still can't find anything on this guy.

Icara:What's that?

Tessa:?

Icara:It looks like there's something at the bottom there.

Tessa makes the soldier scroll down and right before the page automatically scrolls back up there's something that flashes onscreen.

Tessa:Hmm.

Dicarius:Imagine going out with a part time detective.

He says it in a sarcastic manner.

Icara:Fuck off.

Tessa manages to click it and 8 names appear.

Tessa:Never seen these before...

Yuro:You know any of these names?

Tessa:No..none at all.

She starts clicking on them until she finds the merc leader by accident.

Tessa:Let's see here....It details things about his early life. But not much about anything now.

Icara:Any weaknesses?

Tessa:No...none at all are listed here. It says on the bottom of the page. "Never engage repeat never engage powers would cause too much loss to friendly forces and civillians"

Dicarius:So they are afraid he will take out most of the army if they started hunting him? Psht...imagine having a city in the palm of your hands but fearing one man.

Tessa:Birth name unknown was raised by two parents. Was seen around harsh areas and training with his father who was another powerful man who was on the highest tier of the list for mercenary work like his son would become. A creepy voice can be heard through the soldiers camera footage and then a claw goes into the soldiers stomach.

Tessa/soldier:Grhg...Guhg...what the fuck?

Scientist:Woah woah!

The scientists all look at the soldier. Tessa makes the soldier turn around and see the girl with the claws from earlier. Staring with no emotion. She tilts her head.

Mercenary girl:Who gave you the authority to come in here?

Tessa/soldier:The boss you stupid bit...

She slams the soldiers head through the table with the terminal on it.

Mercenary girl:Master wouldn't let you even think those thoughts.

She rips her claws out, turns the soldier around and removes the soldier's helmet and stares into his eyes.

Mercenary girl:...My my what eyes you have.

She leans in really close to the soldiers face and her eyes seem to start fidgeting for a bit before she pulls down her bandanna and smiles.

Mercenary girl:Tessa~

Dicarius and Icara:?!

Mercenary girl:You can't fool me. I know this is just one of ours being controlled by your hair spikes.

Tessa/soldier:Get the fuck off of me!

Tessa makes the soldier punch at the girl but her body bends in a strange way avoiding the punch then hitting him with a headbutt.

Mercenary girl:I'm sure your boss wouldn't like that tessa. Not one bit. Or....your brothers and sisters you left home.

Tessa:n..

Tessa/Soldier:YOU WOULDN'T DARE!

Mercenary girl:Oh so the act is dropped now? I'm not part of your little army here. I follow master and he lets me carry out personal vendettas...Just don't expect anything when you come home. Oh and don't try to stop me, your abilities can't affect me. Unless you want your resting place to be with them.

Her hands rotate and turn into what look like fists with a gauntlet on it launching the soldier. Then tessa clutches her head as if she's in pain.

Tessa:Nrghhg!?!

I run over to her.

Yuro:Are you okay!

Tessa:I...I have to stop her! I'm going back. I can tell invulpes she's lying!

Icara:What?

She starts to run for the door and Dicarius grabs her arm.

Tessa:Let me go! I'll kill you if I have to!

Dicarius looks at her seriously.

Dicarius:If invulpes had booz killed for them you think you can convince him? 

Tessa:...?

Icara folds her arms and looks at tessa.

Icara:Even if you could. They could just overrule him and kill you anyway.

Tessa:You suggesting I let my brothers and sisters at home die?!?

Dicarius:No. I'm suggesting you don't be a dickhead and die instantly.

He isn't joking this time. Under all his anger and being a jerk he does seem to care.

Tessa:What do you want me to do then huh?! We can't even get back! That little augite doesn't mean anything if we can't find anybody to fix it!

Icara just sits with her arms folded and watches.

Tessa:FUGITIVE YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT INNOCENTS! DON'T REASON WITH ME!

Dicarius stands up looking annoyed gritting his teeth.

Dicarius:Your damn organization kills innocents all the damn time! Name one time I've killed an innocent with my hands and it wasn't because of your group! One and I'll let you go!

He stares into her eyes intensely. She looks like she gets more angry.

Tessa:Nnrgh...nrgh!

Dicarius:It got real quiet. Seems you don't know any. It also seems me trying to reason with you isn't working.

Tessa:NRAA!

She goes to punch his face but he quickly hits her in the gut.

Tessa:GRHG!...Grhg...

She hits the floor.

Yuro:Holy!...

Dicarius:Relax I didn't kill her stupid ass. I did just enough to knock her out.

Yuro:So now what? We can't l..

Dicarius:I'm not letting any innocents die to these bullshit mercenaries.

Icara:I agree.

Dicarius:It wasn't major to find the augite before to get me home. But now i'm going to get one.

Icara:But how are you going to do that?

Dicarius:You guys were so busy listening to her talk about wanted you didn't hear the murmurs in the background did you?

Yuro and icara:?

Dicarius:The scientist's were muttering how invulpes and the mercenaries are going to head back for a few days.

Yuro:But the girl would be there anyways what would it do?

Dicarius:It would let me break in and use the portal they are using after they are gone. 

Icara looks like she's thinking as well.

Icara:I doubt they would let her go off by herself immediately.....giving you a window of time to get there.

Yuro:But we don't know how long that window is or where she lives.

Dicarius looks at me.

Dicarius:I can find out where she lives but kid. In this line of work. You don't always get absolutes. Let's say I somehow don't make it in time. I'm going to murder that bitch before she makes it to the portal back here and make her taste her damn teeth for killing them.

Yuro:You can't just leave!? To go there. What about the other red, purple guards and red and black guards stationed there?!

Dicarius:I'll fuckin kill them and spare the normal weakling guards this time. Icara can you stay here while I do that.

Icara:...Your going to do it alone..?

Dicarius:If one of those rat bastards attacks here while I'm gone I doubt Tessa and the kid could do much themselves and someone has to stop her from following after me. I trust you enough to deal with them.

Icara:....you understand we are a group so we can do things together.

Dicarius:Don't try to talk me out of this. You won't change my mind.

I think this is the first time....I've seen him so determined. When he first got here he seemed like such a...dick. but now I can see that righteous side of him icara sees. Icara looks a bit frustrated but like she understands why it has to be like this.

Icara:....fine...

Dicarius:Yuro. Take tessa up to your room. She probably won't wake up until I'm gone.

Yuro:..I..I will.

I pick up tessa and start walking up the stairs and pause near the top stair so I can still see them.

Icara:What will you do in the meantime?

Dicarius:Will you spar with me? I can't go rusty.

Icara sighs and then smiles.

Icara:But of course.

Dicarius:hehe follow me then.

They walk into the basement and actually walk up the stairs and into my room. I make sure she looks comfortable and out of curiosity I walk back downstairs and hear punching sounds. I walk further down to the basement and see Dicarius and icara sparring.

Dicarius and Icara:NRAHG!

They both hit each other then stare.

Icara:I'm impressed you managed to speed up so much.

Dicarius:Yeah I was workin on that. Along with something else for people like you.

Icara:Psht people like me?

Dicarius:People who can run faster than I can swing.

We see smoke near his feet.

Icara:?

He's suddenly in front of her. I had to rub my eyes. I felt like I had blinked and missed something.

Icara:?!

Dicarius:TAKE THIS!

He swings down and icara barely manages to block it in time.

Icara:Not bad...Didn't know you hated speed so much.

Dicarius cracks his neck.

Dicarius:It's just annoying when you beat up someone and then they run away.
